The Sorbonne Apartment is a secure complex with fenced grounds that will make you feel at ease whether you’re arriving, departing or strolling down to the residential garden and pool in the complex. The pool is never crowded as the complex consists of only 10 apartments with 2 levels (ground and first), simultaneously providing the safety of a community and the serenity of wide open spaces.
Guests have the option of either parking in the lockable garage or using the open parking space available to Holly Tree residents.

While we recognise that going on a holiday is an attempt to shed all one’s daily worries and concerns, we appreciate that the comforts of home remain essential. With this in mind, we have equipped the apartment with everything necessary to have the ultimate “home from home experience”.

General Policy
- Check in between 14h00 – 17h00
- Please notify us for special arrangements in the case of arrivals after 17h00
- Additional charge may be applied for later check in.
- Check out by 10h00
- Minimum 2 nights stay, any time of the year except for peak periods listed below:
- Minimum 3 nights stay over Public Holiday long weekends
- Minimum 5 night’s stay between 15 December – 5 January
- Exceptions to these minimums are subject to management discretion
- Maximum of 4 people staying at any time
- Smoking only permitted outdoors
- Rates are subject to change without notice
- All standard terms and conditions apply
- Guests are liable for any breakages or damages
Booking & Payment Policy
Booking will only be confirmed once deposit has been paid
- 50% deposit within 48 hours of booking
- 50% balance due 30 days prior to check in
- Bookings 30 days or less 100% deposit
- All accommodation is to be paid in full prior to occupation
- Payment can be made via EFT or by Credit Card (Mastercard / Visa)
Cancellation Terms and Conditions
10% admin fee on total booking, regardless of notice period
- 60 – 46 days 50% of deposit
- 45 – 31 days 75% of deposit
- 30 – 15 days 100% of deposit
- 8 – 14 days 75% of full rate
- 7 days or less 100% of full rate
In the event of early departure from Holly Tree, the full extent of stay as originally booked and confirmed will be charged

The amenities at Holly Tree Francshhoek Accommodation and the Sorbonne complex have been developed to the best of our ability for your enjoyment and safety. These facilities are for paying guests only.
Management (including employees, directors, officers and / or agents) will not be held liable for any loss, damage, injury or illness incurred or suffered by any guest or any third party arising in any way from their stay at the apartment or the use of premises, whether arising from negligence or any other cause.
The Terms and Conditions of this booking are deemed as being accepted on receipt of payment.
